We’re back for week 7, last week featured the “Red River Rivalry” which was a damn massacre. The Arkansas Kansas game was my favorite of the ones we picked last week. Here are a few games we think you should watch this weekend if your by a tube.
Saturday 10/15
#11 Michigan @ #23 Michigan St., ESPN ESPN 3, Noon ET- This is an in-state rivalry game, it will test both sides of the ball for the undefeated Wolverines. St. has a solid defense and a power offense which could pose a problem for the Wolverines. The Wolverines are wayyy more explosive than the Spartans, so St. will have to play mistake free ball if they want to pose there will and have a shot to steal the upset.
#20 Baylor @ #21 Texas A&M, FX, Noon ET- Baylor has RG3 that’s enough to watch this ranked game in itself, nah but really this will be a nice in-state battle. A&M has been battle tested all season there defense will have to play all 60 minutes so they can try to control Baylor’s high powered offense. Baylor’s defense isn’t great by any means so A&M’s QB Ryan Tannehill should be able to make some noise. Whoever makes the less mistakes on both sides of the ball will come away with the victory. This will be a good final Big 12 battle.(A&M is going to SEC next year)
#18 Arizona St. @ #9 Oregon, ESPN ESPN 3, 10:15 PM ET- Oregon has been on a roll since losing there 1st game of the year to LSU. With there star running back LaMichael James injured how will they respond this week to a solid Arizona St. defense? Star LB Vontaze Burfict will be coming for blood, Oregon better watch out. This will be a game that helps shape the Pac 12.
Ohio St. @ #16 Illinois, ABC ESPN ESPN 3, 3:30 PM ET- I know before I get attacked about this pick spare me or at least just hear me out. O St. is fresh off of a meltdown @ Nebraska last week everything fell apart once freshman QB Braxton Miller hurt his ankle. Illinois is undefeated and has a nice young dual threat QB in Nathan Scheelhaase and even with the Buckeyes having a down year because of all the beat downs they have handed down in the Big Ten they are still the measuring stick of every Big Ten trying to turn that corner.
Ok these are our picks this week. Hopefully a few of the games turn out to be good. Until next week, peace.
Feel free to comment on the games you will be watching this weekend.
