OVERALL

The Wildcats won the National Championship and then proceeded to lose everybody. The good thing about coach Cal is he reloads year after year. This year is not any different. The Wildcats add one of the best recruiting class again led by Noel. Noel was the latest addition but considered the best of the class. He’s said to be even better than Davis on defense but not as good on offense. Goodwin and Poythress are both talented athletic wings but have big shoes to fill in Kidd-Gilchrist and Lamb. The point guard position in Kentucky is always the key to Kentucky success as and Cal has struck gold year after year. This year the reigns fall in the hands of Harrow, who was a top fifty recruit two seasons ago for NC State but things didn’t work out there so he looks to redeem his self in Lexington. The only thing that kept Kentucky from being rank higher was the fact that they didn’t return anybody from last years team that made a significant impact. The closes player is Wiltjer and he played sparingly but he is a talented player. I expect coach Cal to get these Cats ready to compete for a National Championship immediately.
