OVERALL

Even though the Wildcats didn’t make the tourney the season wasn’t that bad. Arizona had a couple of problems. 1. The lack of size inside. 2. Experience in the backcourt. Both issues have been address. The Wildcats add three talented post players led by Ashley and Tarczewski. Ashley considered one of the best PF in the country and Tarczewski one of the best centers. They both should make immediate impacts. They add Xavier transfer Lyons, who as a senior, brings a lot of experience to the backcourt. Lyons can score the ball but will have to prove he can play more of a natural point guard. Johnson is a talented young guard who should only improve in his second year. Hill can play more of his natural position of small forward and should have a big season. Arizona have a good combination of youth and experience and will compete for a Pac 12 championship and a national championship.
