Front Office weekly rundown 6/8/12

We are back for another week of the rundown. One of the more quiet weeks but feel free to check out a few things we feel were important.

NBA

Chris Bosh returned for Game 5. A lot of Heat fans rejoiced. Even though the Heat lost a tough game at home.

Former player Orlando Woolridge died at the age of 52 due to a heart attack. Woolridge was most known for his time playing with the Bull and the Lakers but also played with the Nets, 76ers, Nuggets, Bucks and Pistons. The Front Office sends a big R.I.P. to Woolridge and hope his family takes it well.

NFL

The New York Giants Osi Umenyiora got his deal restructured for his remaining year is due to make 7 million besides the 4.5 million he was due during the 2012 season.

New York Giants extended head coach Tom Coughlin 2 more years, totaling 20 million dollars with his final 3 years remaining. To say the least the Giants have shelled out some dough this week.

Chad Ochocinco “Johnson” got released by the New England Patriots. He restructured his contract for them to but it must be the Patriot way huh? Chad is still a legit receiver somebody should take a chance on him.

Jacksonville Jaguar receiver Justin Blackmon got a DUI. He blew a .24 they say which was his 2nd within 20 months. I might have been Blaine’s fault but no we hope people don’t bury the young Blackmon hopefully he will correct this.

GOLF

Tiger Woods won the Memorial. With that win Tiger tied Jack with 73 wins.

BOXING

Two of Boxing’s greats hung up the gloves this week. “Sugar” Shane Mosely and Ronald “Winky” Wright both at the age of 40 that it was time to give up the game. Both were staples of my boxing life. Hopefully both men enjoy their time off. I’m happy both men quick before it got too ugly in the ring for them. The Front Office wants to say thanks for all of the good fights.

MLB

The New York Mets Johan Santana threw the 1st no-hitter in the history of the franchise. Congrats to Johan it’s been a long battle back from his recent injury.

Thanks for checking out another edition of the weekly rundown. Feel free to tell us how you felt about this weeks news and events. Until next week, PEACE!
