2012 Week 16: NFL Games of the Week

This week like the weeks before will feature many marquee match-ups.  We hope you enjoy our selections. Please feel free to express your opinion about our choices for games of the week.

NFL: Cincinnati Bengals at Washington RedskinsCincinnati Bengals @  Pittsburgh Steelers 1:00PM, ET

This is a crucial match-up for both AFC North Squads that are making a playoff push at the end of the season. The Steelers have been on a downward spiral, and the Bengals have been playing solid football as of late. The Steelers have the home field advantage, and Big Ben always plays well against the teams in Ohio. When the pressure is on Roethlisberger delivers. Steelers win in a close one against Cincy.

New York Giants @ Baltimore Ravens, 4:25PM, ET

This is another match-up that has serious playoff implications. The NFC East is about as close as it gets, and the Ravens grip on the AFC North seems to be loosening by the week. Joe Flacco will face a tough test against the Giants, and it will be interesting to see how Jim Caldwell calls the game against the Giants. For some odd reason it seems as if the Ravens are allergic to getting the ball to Ray Rice, which is absurd.  The bad version of the Giants showed up in Atlanta last week, so that means that they will play lights out against the Ravens. Eli & Co. will storm into the Baltimore to take the win leaving the Ravens with several question marks about their future at Quarterback, and with their offensive coordinator.

San Francisco 49ers @ Seattle Seahawks, @ 8:20PM, ET, (Sunday Night Football)

Both teams are probably the most physical teams in the NFL. The Seahawks have scored over 100 points in their last two games, and Russell Wilson is making late run for the NFL Offensive Rookie of The Year. I am a niner fan, but it will be very very hard to win in Seattle. This will be a huge test for Colin Kaepernick in a very hostile environment. If Kaepernick and the 49ers win he will have three quality road victories (New Orleans, New England, and possibly Seattle) which is huge for a young quarterback. This will be a slugfest, and special teams will be a huge factor for both teams.  I have to be a homer and pick my niners lol.
