Roy Halladay retires

royhalladaybluejaysallstarA few months ago I wrote that our time with Roy Halladay may be running out and on December 9th, 2013 my theory was correct. Roy Halladay has hung up his baseball cleats. He was personally one of my favorite pitchers ever, he did my Reds dirty in the playoffs a few years back even though I was mad I still respected the masterful performance.

Halladay played 16 years (12 with the Blue Jays and 4 with the Phillies), he sported a 203-105 career record with a 3.38 ERA.

He was an 8x All Star and won 2 Cy Young’s (1 NL/1 AL).

He will retire a Blue Jay and rightfully so. We here at the Front Office appreciates the work you put in Mr. Halladay enjoy your retirement.
