There is a new freshman sensation coming to Columbus, Ohio this summer. That player is D’Angelo Russell. D’Angelo Russell is a smooth left-handed shooting guard from Louisville, KY, but played his high school ball in Monteverde, Fla. Russell showed his skills during the McDonald’s All-American game, and has been in the national spotlight for a very long time. Russell should be an instant impact next season for the basketball Buckeyes. Many people give Thad Matta a hard time about recruiting which is asinine to me, but that is another story for another day. Russell will headline a great class coming in that will feature Keita Bates-Diop, Jae’Sean Tate, David Bell, and transfer Anthony Lee. Here is a mix of Russell showcasing his talents. Buckeye fans should be excited for next season.
