Got them right where we want them

NBA: Finals-Miami Heat at San Antonio SpursI’m shocked even in this era of fast results and quick comparisons at how media and social media continue to overreact at every occurrence in the sports world, more specifically the NBA Finals.

LeBron gets cramps he’s soft and useless, LeBron gets hot he’s better than Kobe and Jordan combined.

The Spurs take game one it’s going to be a sweep, Heat take game 2 they’re going to win four straight.

Tim Duncan misses free throws he’s not clutch.

Seriously all those things are far from the truth. The Spurs are turning the ball over because Miami has great defense and athletic wings. Miami is getting dominated down low because of their size. These are the two best teams and nobody has any idea who will hoist the trophy in two weeks. Miami could be up two zip and so could San Antonio, but the beauty is in my Herm Edwards voice “that’s why you play the game!”

Let’s sit back and witness two great teams fight for the right to be called the best.

  1. The gift and curse of social media, everything is the best thing ever and every loss is the worst. #twittersports is very extreme. This series isn’t over by a longshot. Going 6 or 7 either way.
