Me and Marcelus Joiner did some join interviews with a few of the fighters after the “Friday Night Fights” event was over. After a 2nd round knockout of Antoine Knight, DeVonte Allen gave us a few minutes to ask a few a questions.

JT = How did it feel to fight in your hometown (right across the river)?
DA = It felt great, I like the support from the hometown they give us that extra motivation.
JT = You put on a good show. How long had you been training for this fight?
DA = 2 months, I stay in the gym since I fought today (Friday) I’ll probably be back in the gym Wednesday.
MJ = When is your next fight?
DA = November 7th.
MJ = Who are you fighting?
DA = I don’t know and it don’t matter. I’m a warrior, I don’t care who they put in there with me.
JT = What do you like to do besides boxing?
DA = I like to play basketball and help the inner city youth teaching them right from wrong.
