Steve Smith’s offensive pass interference call saved my fantasy team this week

With less than 40 seconds left the Ravens Joe Flacco completed an 80 yard pass to Steve Smith that seemed like the go ahead touchdown. It seemed like the Ravens had beat the Bengals on the road and earned an important win in the AFC North division, but during that play receiver Steve Smith was called for offensive pass interference as he nudged safety George Iloka to the ground. The play helped sealed the Bengals victory.

Ok, now to the most important part of this play. I was playing against Steve Smith in my yahoo fantasy football league and this play getting reversed saved me 15 points counting against me. I ended up winning by a little more than 11 points and boy I’m I happy this play was called back. I’m now 4-4 in my fantasy football league and it was a close one. Sorry it had to be you Chris.

Also, thanks Saints for keeping Aaron Rodgers under 40 points. Well maybe I should be thanking Mark Ingram for his last touchdown run. That run allowed Coach Mike to give his star QB some rest because the game was out of hand.

Thanks refs for holding it down, my fantasy team appreciates it. P.O.P. !!
