Daniel Ingram decommits from Cincinnati, chooses to go the HBCU route committing to Arkansas Pine Bluff

Recently graduated Withrow High School graduate Daniel Ingram was committed to play football at the University of Cincinnati, he was a preferred walk-on for his hometown school, but on Friday night he broke the news that will be transferring to the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff. Arkansas Pine Bluff is an HBCU that plays in the SWAC (Southwestern Atlantic Conference).

With the recent times a lot of young African American men have been considering HBCU’s a lot more, 5 star basketball player Makur Maker just committed to Howard over schools like Kentucky and UCLA. He is the biggest name to go HBCU, but their have been other higher profile players going that route as of late.

TFON wishes Ingram the best of luck at Arkansas Pine Bluff!

Note: At the time of the article, I’m not for sure if he will play quarterback (his high school position) or running back what he was going to play at Cincinnati.

Ingram also received a full scholarship to attend Arkansas Pine Bluff.
