Star receiver Steve Smith will give 100k to the victims that attended “Dark Knight Rises” in Aurora, CO.
During the terrible incident 12 people were killed and at least 30 others were injured. This was a very tragic incident.
For Smith to donate 100k to the victims is a very thoughtful gesture. When people think of Smith they probably think of the guy who celebrates during touchdowns (which I enjoy) or had dotted a few of his teammates eyes but this proves he is not who the media labels him to be. We as the media like to shine light on negative things like DUI’s, arrests and other off the field troubles. So it is great to shine light on a very positive move by a pro athlete.
