December 5, 2012 Kobe Bryant joined the 30,000 points club becoming the fifth player in NBA history to do so. He has joined a club that only Wilt Chamberlain, Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Karl Malone have entered.
Bryant is also the youngest player to achieve this goal doing it at the age of 34 years and 104 days old.
Bryant finished the night with 29 points when he started the game needing 13 points to join the club.
Number 24 will continue to climb the list until he retires and the way he is playing right now he has a few strong years left in those OG legs. The Lakers organization might as well be molding a statue of Kobe to place right next to Magic and Kareem that’s already set in stone.
Congrats to Kobe for the dope achievement.
Check out the play that entered him into the club.
dope? amazing journalist style there, way to use a trendy catchphrase. you do know dope is slang for dumb or drugs. how it came to mean something good is beyond me.
I’m glad you know what Dope means. You are pretty smart buddy, I guess you want to be ignorant so use the word how you would like and it’s my blog so I do want I want. Feel me? No it’s still a DOPE post.
