The Cincinnati Bengals and Philadelphia Eagles kicks off the football week in great fashion. This week like the weeks before will feature many marquee match-ups. We hope you enjoy our selections. Please feel free to express your opinion about our choices for games of the week.
New York Giants @ Atlanta Falcons 1:00PM, ET
I’m with majority of the world by thinking that the ATL Falcons are frauds. The Falcons play a New York Giants team that always rises to the occasion when playing against upper-echelon teams. The Falcons are coming off of a loss against the Panthers, and I believe that they will continue their downward spiral as it gets closer to playoff time.
Indianapolis Colts @ Houston Texans, 1:00PM, ET
Andrew Luck and the Colts come into H-Town playing at a very high level. The Texans are coming off of an embarrassing game on prime time television against the New England Patriots, so they will be looking forward to getting back on the right track. Luck has been Mr. Fourth Quarter as of late, but I think a little of his magic will wear off against the Texans. Texans will win convincingly against the Colts.
San Francisco 49ers @ New England Patriors, 8:20PM ET
This is a good test for my Niners. Kaepernick has cooled off a bit, but he is still playing great football. Tom Brady & Co have been steam rolling opponents so it will be interesting to see how the 49ers will respond in this hostile environment. If both teams continue to play at a high level they could meet again in the Super Bowl. When you have a defense as good as the 49ers D it makes it hard to bet against. Tom Brady has struggled going 1-2 against the NFC West. If the Cardinals can win in Foxborough I believe San Francisco can do the same.
