Now that the NFL Franchise tag deadline is over we know what players will be locked up at least for another year with their current team. Last year there were at lot more tags used, which may be good for the players who weren’t tagged because they may have a shot for a long term deal with another team as they will be unrestricted free agents by March 12th if no deal is done with their current team before that.
Joe Flacco and Dwayne Bowe were two players who we thought would get tagged but signed long term deals with their current teams before the franchise tag deadline.

- Indianapolis Colts- P, Pat McAfee
- Kansas City Chiefs- OT, Branden Albert
