On Sunday April 14th, 2013, Dirk Nowitzki the 25,000 point club becoming the 17th player to reach this mark.
Dirk reached this milestone in the 2nd quarter against the New Orleans Hornets after knocking down a jump shot over Robin Lopez.
Dirk by his standards is having a down season averaging 17.1 ppg and 6.9 rpg after missing a quarter of the season with a knee injury. During his up and down season he has shown spurts where he looks like he will return to form next season.
The Mavs are out of the playoffs this year but this is a nice milestone for one of best stretch fours in NBA to achieve. Congrats Dirk on joining the 25k club.
