Tim Tebow was recently cut from the J-E-T-S. The Tebow experiment failed In Gotham City this past season. Tebow was supposed to be the change of pace quarterback adding the “Wildcat” to the Jets arsenal, but he was a distraction more than anything. While with the Denver Broncos Tebow led a late season surge to the playoffs, but his overall play at quarterback was marginal at best even though he had many fourth quarter come backs.
Tebow passed through waivers today meaning that no team in the NFL wanted the opportunity to sign him.
Unless Tebow changes his position I don’t see him landing a roster spot any time soon. The Tebow circus and media frenzy is not worth having around the locker room for a backup player. I know Skip Bayless is heartbroken, but the reality of it is that Tim Tebow is side show more than an asset.
We shall see how things end up for Tebow, but for now he can upload his resume careerbuilder.com
