Monta Ellis has a player option for the 13-14 season worth 11.8 million. A lot of people believe that Ellis could possibly opt out and test the free agent waters. After learning the Bucks offered Ellis a 3 year 36 million dollar extension pending on if he opts in this summer it could make his decision a lot harder. Point Guard Brandon Jennings is a restricted free agent this summer meaning they can match any offer another team makes for him. Now that they have places there claim on Ellis does this mean they have closed the book on Jennings? Or if Ellis opts out to they place all of their extra energy into signing Jennings?
