Last week video surfaced with Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper using the N word at a Kenny Chesney concert that took place a month ago. There are two forms of this word one ends with an “A” and the other “ER”, Cooper used the one with the “ER” both wouldn’t be acceptable but if he used the one with an “A” people may have had a little bit more understanding where he was coming from, he didn’t so no sympathy was provided.
Freedom of speech can bite you in the ass, so to speak when you choose the wrong word choice. Cooper was fined by the Eagles but what makes this situation more puzzling is that Cooper says this is the first time he has ever used the word in his life, hmmm, this is damn near “When keeping it real goes wrong” the cover up. A black security guard wouldn’t let him back stage in the first thing that comes to your mind is a word you have never used before in your life? I guess I’m a molly user huh? Because if you believe that you may be on dog? Molly? Meth? or whatever other drug that effects your thinking.
He said the word over a month ago and now that is out he’s sorry, can’t eat and or sleep. That’s funny to me because the previous 30 days you were chilling just like normal. When you keep it real you show your true colors no pun intended but damn he picked a hell of a way to keep it real because over half the league he plays in is of African-American decent.
In June Cooper wanted to kick a lot of “fill in the blank” ass but if he sticks on the Eagles in the context of the game a lot of “fill in the blank” will have the chance to return the favor the football field.
