It seems like everyone is on the fantasy football wave. For fantasy football fans the excitement was in the air for week 1. There were some awful performances this past week, and it was hard to give out an award. From C.J. Spiller, Mike Wallace, to Ben Roethlisberger there were many disappointments.
I have to give the nod to Mike Wallace. Mike Wallace signed a big time contract worth $60 Million Dollars. Since the 1990’s it seems like wide receivers are cursed after they receive lucrative contracts. From Alvin Harper to Peerless Price it seems like when the cash comes the drops come. Mike Wallace had one measly catch for fifteen yards. The expectations weren’t Calvin Johnson like, but one catch!! C’mon man!
The Dolphins did win the game, but after the game Wallace displayed a poor attitude. Maybe Wallace was mad at himself for his performance, or maybe it was because he failed himself on his own fantasy team. All in all it was a bad week for Mike Wallace. There will be better days for Mike Wallace just try to forget about last Sunday.
