The Patriots and Jets are kicking off our football week. Like last week there will be many marquee match ups. Last week I was 2-1 on my selections. I am going for the undefeated mark this week, but we shall see. Check out our selections, and feel free to drop us a line.
San Francisco 49ers @ Seattle Seahawks (Sunday Night Football)
The San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks are the class of the NFC, and is building one of the best rivalries in the NFL. Both teams are built almost identical from the brash head coaches in Pete Carroll and Jim Harbaugh to their young heralded Quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick. It is always tough going up to Seattle on the road, but I think my Niners will look for revenge after having a sour taste in their mouth last season after getting blown out in Seattle.
Final Score: 27 Niners 21 Seahawks
Denver Broncos vs New York Giants (The Manning Bowl)
Last week Peyton Manning was in video game mode last week against the Ravens piling up seven touchdown passes. Eli Manning lost his first game in Cowboys Stadium meaning that he and the G Men will be hungry for a win. I respect the Giants pass rush, but I don’t think there is anything they can do to stop No.18.
Final Score: 28 Broncos 24 Giants
Washington Redskins @ Green Bay Packers
RGIII looked rusty as expected, and the Packers hung tight with the 49ers for majority of the game. All in all both teams are coming off of a loss, and will be looking to get a W in the win column. I expect RGIII to come out better than last week due to a strong closing to the game on Monday Night against Philly. Despite Griffin’s performance I still see them falling short to Mr. Discount Double Check & Co. I feel that addition of Eddie Lacy will help the Pack and will help the passing game flourish even more. Packers win in a close one.
Final Score: 31 Packers 27 Redskins
