Welp during the finals I wrote a piece talking about the 2-3-2 format being a disadvantage for the teams with home court advantage. It almost came to a head Game 6 when the Heat were down 3-2 on the brink of the defeat at home in Game 6. Who knows if they are in that position if the format is the same as it has been all playoffs?
With the owners voting to change the format from 2-3-2 to the conventional 2-2-1-1-1 it will make home court really an advantage for the team with the best record.
I promise David Stern and his staff check out the Front Office because who even knew this was a topic in the NBA? But anyways I’m excited for the change and it proves big brother is watching!!!
