The Boston Red Sox beat the St.Louis Cardinals in the World Series 4-2. Big Papi David Ortiz channeled his inner Reggie Jackson, and was the engine behind the Red Sox defeating the Cardinals.
This is a great accomplishment for a team that went through so much drama last season.
