Matt Prater broke Tom Dempsey’s longest field goal record knocking down a 64 yarder in Denver. The ball does travel further in Denver but it’s still a hell of a kick. Jason Elam (a former Broncos kicker), Sebastian Janikowski (kicked in Denver also) and David Akers tied the 63 yard field record, but Prater got the record on Sunday.
