LeSean “Shady” McCoy broke a few things on Sunday. The Cowboys heart, some ankles and a few Eagles records.
“Shady” has helped the Eagles make it to the playoffs salute. He also rocked the OG WCW World Championship Belt once he claimed the NFL rushing title. For the older followers you know seeing that belt made you smile.
“Shady” claimed the total yards from scrimmage in a single season record with 2,146 yards, knocking Brian Westbrook down to 2nd at 2,104 yards. (2007)
Shady also has the most rushing yards in one season by an Eagles back with 1,607 yards, knocking Wilbur Montgomery down to 2nd at 1,512. (1979)
That’s a hell of an accomplishment to break two records in one season and one of the records was held for over 30 years.
