During the last two weeks forward Danny Granger has been all over the U.S. it seems. He was traded from Indiana to Philadelphia and now he’s landed out in Los Angeles. Before my Lakers fans get semi excited you know no veteran to wants to sign with us this season.
Granger was traded to Philly for Evan Turner. After arriving Granger politely asked for a buyout which Philly ownership granted knowing he wasn’t in their long term plans anyways.
After clearing the waver wire today he signed with the Clippers for the rest of the year. This is a solid move for the Clips, they get a wing who isn’t playing like his old all star self, but can still contribute and may be able to find his groove playing next to Cliff, I mean Chris Paul.
Granger is averaging 8.3 ppg this season.
This is a low risk high reward move. The Clippers are gearing up for the playoffs first signing “Big Baby” Davis and now Granger. It’s getting interesting out west.
