Room for Two

Mr.Bubba Watson (in my Coming to America voice ) has dropped the mic and walked off stage with The 78th Master’s Championship. After shooting a final 69, Bubba now joins Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, and Jack Nicklaus and five other player as the only golfer to win two Master’s in a three year span.
The win didn’t come easy. 2013 Rookie of the Year, Jordan Spieth was tied with Watson at -5 under entering the final round after shooting a -2 under 70 on Saturday. Spieth would tie for second with Sweden’s Jonas Blixt. Defending champion Adam Scott was in contention at the beginning of the weekend but ultimately fell apart ending his final round tied for 14th at +1 over.
With Tiger out due to back surgery, this year’s Masters didn’t have the usual feel. The ratings from last year’s Masters were around 2.8 million viewers. ESPN announced that this year’s ratings dropped 28 percent, down 800,000 viewers.

Though ratings were down Bubba still gave us a Master’s to remember. The only question that remains is, “What’s for dinner?”, as Watson will host the 2015 Master’s Champion Dinner for the second time in three years.
