Tony Gwynn and Tony Gwynn, Jr- Tony, Sr. was one of the best hitters in baseball history, he won a lot of awards and pretty much is the first person you associate to Padres baseball. Tony, Jr. has made the major leagues, but is no more than a situational outfielder. Nothing wrong with not being a star, it’s just hard being Tony Gwynn, Jr, when your father is one of the best ever.
