TFON predicts the Spurs Heat NBA Finals outcome

2013NBA_HeatSpursFinalsPrediction_btb_mainWe are trying to get our ESPN on so we have decided to predict the winner of the 2014 NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs.

We will predict the team who wins and by which game. If any of our readers wins any money off our predictions feel free to send us a few dollars.

Marcelus Joiner – @Maxdaddy1207 – Spurs in 6 games– Why? It’s obvious San Antonio is out for revenge and there’s no better way of getting it than stopping a team from three peating. The X-factor for this series will be the defense on LeBron and San Antonio ability to control the glass offensively and defensively.

Derrick Bond- @bond_agent187– Spurs in 6 games– I feel like Miami has the two best players in this series but San Antonio has the better team.  I Feel like Like LeBron has had to do too much this particular season and despite being their best defender he can’t guard Tim Duncan.  The Heat also had an easy trip to the finals this year (Bobcats, Nets, probably wouldn’t make the Western Conference playoffs & Indy lost their mojo in February)   Lastly I feel like SA is hungrier because they know how close they were last year.

Ronnie Hampston- @ron_hamp– Heat in 6 games– The Heat and Spurs are back it again, and I am sure that the series will be just as thrilling as it was last season. The Spurs and Heat are playing great ball at this point of the season. The Spurs are looking like a well oiled machine and Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, and Tony Parker are playing as if they jumped in the hot tub time machine. The Heat are looking great as well, to a surprise to some Dwyane Wade is started to resemble Flash instead of flashes. LeBron James knows that his supremacy on the line each game, and Chris Bosh is entering the series more confident compared to last season.

We all know what to expect out of both team’s big three, but one version of the big three has the best basketball player in the world. LeBron James and the Miami Heat as well as Tim Duncan and the Spurs are chasing history, but I can’t see myself betting against the King. I don’t think the series will go seven games as it did last season, with that said I have the Heat winning the NBA Finals series 4-2.

Jesse Smith- @TeezyT– Spurs in 6 games– Last year Ray Allen snatched the Spurs souls with a crazy 3 that will always be in sports fans minds forever. The Heat went on to win the series in 7. I think the fact that the Spurs have had a foul taste in their mouth all season and have managed to make it back to the finals will suit them good.

Both teams’ rosters are very similar to last year. Spurs lost Gary Neal and DeJuan Blair and the Heat lost Mike Miller and Joel Anthony. The Spurs made the bigger free agency splash getting Marco Belinelli .

I just think the Spurs solid bigs will be the big difference this year. I wouldn’t be shocked if this series went 7 games, but I’m sticking with Spurs in 6.
