Little league pitcher Mo’Ne Davis turned heads this past weekend for multiple reasons. Davis has a mean fastball that hovers over 70mph, and she is a young lady dominating teenage boys in a sport where many have not seen it happen before. Davis has garnered a lot of attention due to her gender, but her talent on the mound is just as impressive. In the Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship she struck out six batters in a six inning game.
Davis, and her team from Philadelphia will look to continue to make noise as they look to bring the Little League World Series to city of Brotherly Love. Davis is only 13 years of age, and as time goes on she will only improve. It may be early to jump to conclusions, but if she puts on a show she could be a household name for years to come.
