A few other names left off the list are great but not elite. Matt Ryan signed a blockbuster deal with the Falcons and has yet to live up to the hype. With two of the best receivers in the game(Roddy White, Julio Jones) Ryan is expected and should be putting up numbers and winning big games. He is yet to make it to the big dance and failed to take a star studded Offense to the postseason. As of right now, he can’t be considered for a modern day GOAT. Eli Manning on the other hand was at one time considered to be better than his brother, albeit a long time ago it did happen. Shocking the world not once but twice against the Golaith Patriots, Eli has won two Super Bowl rings with an MVP award to boot. The last few years though have been a nightmare. Throwing interception after interception, Eli puts himself in terrible situations almost every play. Without the rookie all star Odell Beckham one has to believe this 2014 season would have been his last as a Giant. 5 years ago I would put him in a list, today I couldn’t fathom taking him to start a franchise over numerous athletes previously stated.
Other QBs in the NFC are far from reaching this list, Cutler has yet to win a ring, Stafford can’t seem to reach the second round of the postseason, Kaepernick comes close, but needs to become much more of a leader to his team winning the clutch games, Foles is to early in his career, Bradford and RG3 have yet to play through their nagging injuries and Romo, like Rivers in the AFC, is a choke artist.
Stay tuned for the final rankings list..
