Former Ohio State Buckeye and former NBAer Daequan Cook enjoyed another successful season playing overseas. Cook averaged close to 16.0 ppg and while playing in one of the top leagues in France. While playing for Spo Rouen, Cook was selected to the All-Star team after being the top scorer for his team. Cook who is known for being a knock down shooter shot 38% from three-point land, and with him showing the ability to still be able to knock down shots it could land him on a spot in a NBA training camp when the fall rolls around. Guys such as Henry (Bill) Walker and Michael Beasley have resurfaced back into the NBA after exiting prematurely, and I believe that Cook can follow that path.
Congratulations to Cook on a successful season, and hopefully he can find another home in the NBA. Check out a video of Cook’s highlights below.
