It’s crazy to think that the infamous Los Angeles Lakers and Portland Trailblazers game 7 from the 2001 NBA Playoffs was 14 years ago. I’m not a Laker fan by any means, but I feel that this one of the greatest comebacks in NBA Playoff history. A lot of people fail to realize how deep that Portland Trailblazers team was during that time. Led by Rasheed Wallace, Damon Stoudamire, and Scottie Pippen this was one of the best teams in NBA history not to win a title.
The Lakers went on to win the NBA Championship in convincing fashion after defeating their biggest nemesis at the time in the Trailblazers. At the time, Kobe was becoming the superstar that everyone envisioned him to be, and right before our eyes he did just that.
