ESPN had a series in the early 2000’s titled The Life. The Life was one of the first shows that went behind the scenes of athletes before the days of social media. One of the most memorable episodes to me was the episode that featured former NBA’er Dajuan Wagner. Wagner was one of the pioneers in the one-and-done era. After a historic high school run Wagner went on to play for Memphis where he was regarded as one of the best players in the country.
As expected Wagner garnered a lot of attention when he prepared for the 2002 NBA Draft. Let’s take a trip down memory lane to reminisce to see how great Wagner was as a player.
