Darryl Dawkins died yesterday at age 58. Dawkins was one of the pioneers in the game of basketball when it came to dunking. Although, Dawkins was known as a dunker, he was a solid big man in his day. Dawkins played for several teams in the NBA, but he enjoyed his best years with the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Nets. Dawkins’ jovial personality will be missed, and we like to send condolences out to his family. R.I.P. Chocolate Thunder.
