After Deontay Wilder 11th round TKO of Johann Duhaupas to retain his WBC heavyweight title follow heavyweight fighter took to Instagram to post a video calling out Wilder. Bryant Jennings just fought Wladimir Klitshcko in April although he came up short he impressed a lot of boxing fans that didn’t give him a chance as he went all 12 rounds and never got knocked down, he even had points in the fight where he was applying pressure to Klitshcko.
Check the link out below, but all in all Jennings called Wilder’s footwork sloppy and he would be waiting for him January 9th.
I personally was wondering when this fight would pop up or start to get buzz because I think Jennings and Wilder are the top American heavyweights right now and personally I think Jennings is the better boxer at this stage in both careers.

Will this fight happen soon? I don’t know, but personally I hope it does.
No OJT when you are holding one of those belts. To fight step down fights is a management strategy,stat padding and what not…,but if Povetkin beats Wilder down these last two fights it will be just that,stat padding…America needs him. Jennings is a quality fighter it could be an interesting sequence in the Heavyweight division.
America def needs an American champ. His last two stat padders and that happens.. Jennings will be a real challenge for Wilder and I was impressed how he fought Klitch
