Tyquan Statham was forced to step away from the Cincinnati Bearcats and football in general because of a serious health condition that wouldn’t allow him to compete.
Statham was a redshirt sophomore and a member of the 2016 recruiting class. The three star recruit had 11 offers with Duke, Boston College, ECU, Vanderbilt and Indiana just to name a few.
Hopefully Statham can get his degree and find something else he loves to do. The main thing his the young mans health hopefully everything on that side is fine for him now and in the future.
A few of his linebacker brothers shot some tweets out when they heard the news.
Good luck to you Mr. Statham.
