Saturday edge rusher Khalil Mack was made the NFL’s highest paid defensive player. A day after the Rams finally broke the bank for Aaron Donald, but it wasn’t by the Oakland Raiders as expected. Mack is now a member of the Bears via trade and he got a six-year extension for $141 million and $90 million guaranteed.

Mack is a 3x Pro Bowler and a 2x All-Pro, besides his first season he has had double-digit sacks. The Raiders got a big load for him, but you draft players to hopefully be All-Pro’s and they traded one who is still in his prime.
