Over the weekend the Cleveland Browns were going to release Josh Gordon today, but in the open market his salary could jump and he had trade value. The New England Patriots gave up a conditional 5th round pick for the trouble wide receiver. If Gordon can stay out of trouble this will be a steal for New England. If not then he gamble is worth a 5th round pick.
Word on the street is former Browns receiver Corey Coleman is being released to make room for Gordon.
Crazy world! Can Tom Brady give Gordon the Randy Moss effect? We will see soon enough.
The #Patriots have agreed to trade for #Browns WR Josh Gordon, I’m told. Done deal. IT’s for a conditional 5th round pick.
