Bearcats first to offer Revere (OH) ’21 offensive lineman Ben Christman

The Cincinnati Bearcats offer Revere High School offensive guard Ben Christman. Christman is a member of the 2021 class and is listed at 6’6” and 299 pounds.

The Bearcats were the first to offer the big sophomore and I was to catch up with him to gauge his excitement of his first Division I offer.

JS: How did it feel to get your first D1 offer?

BC: It is amazing and a dream come true!

JS: Which coaches have you been in contact with? And which one gave you the offer?

BC: I spoke with (running backs) coach Doug Phillips the most. He and coach (Luke) Fickell facetimed me and gave me the offer.

JS: Have you been on a visit to UC yet? If so was it an official? How did it go?

BC: This was my first unofficial with at UC and it was phenomenal.

JS: I know it is early in the process, but how do you think you would fit at UC?

BC: I feel like I would fit in very well with UC’s style. I feel like I’d blend in great with the Bearcats offense.

JS: What are the strengths of your game?

BC: I feel my biggest strengths are my motor, footwork and I’m a pretty high energy player.
