This linebacker group flies around the ball and the three starters lead the team in tackles. Perry Young has 29 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, .5 sacks and a fumble recovery (that’s with a missed game). Bryan Wright has 27 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks while holding down the middle linebacker position. Malik Clements has 26 tackles and 2.0 tackles for loss.
Like the defensive line this position is deep also with Jarell White, Joel Dublanko, Ty Sponseller and RJ Potts. White and Dublanko have been leading the backups as of late. White even had a game changing tackle against Ohio.
