Cincinnati Bearcats midseason report card: Offense

Running back: A

With Gerrid Doaks being out with injury sophomore running back Mike Warren has literally run with the ball. Warren has 664 yards on 124 carries for a clip of 5.4 yards and 11 touchdowns. Warren also has 11 catches for 122 yards. He is a consistent sledge hammer. Freshman’s Tavion Thomas and Charles McClelland have been very good  with limited playing time. Thomas is third on the team in rushing with 259 yards with a 7.0 yards per rush average and four touchdowns. McCelland is fourth on the team with 154 yards with a 5.4 yards per carry average and a touchdown.

This unit is the most talented group on offense and they are young, if Doaks can come back this season this group gets even stronger, but Junior Taylor Boose is very solid also if he gets more reps.
