Darius Bazley signed a shoe deal with New Balance with $1 million guaranteed which could turn into $14 million based on kickers in the deal. Not bad for a young man who won’t be playing any basketball this year and can’t go to the NBA until June which would be the 2019 draft.
The McDonald’s All-American was slated to go to Syracuse, then to play in the G-League for a year, but now the talented swingman will train until the NBA calls. He went to Princeton High School in Cincinnati, Ohio so I’m rooting for the young fella, secure the bag sir.
