The defense played a key part in getting the Bearcats back on the winning side of things. After tiring out last week this unit had none of it this week. They held SMU to 351 total yards with only 23 yards coming on the ground on 24 attempts. The only way they were able to move the ball was through the air. They only allowed 11 first downs and held them to 3-of 17 on third downs.
Lets see who got game balls this week.
