Cortez Broughton was named the American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for this play against Navy in a 42-0 blow out. Broughton had 10 tackles a half sack and 1.5 tackles for loss on Saturday. He helped the Bearcats shutout Navy at home.
This is the second week in a row a Bearcat has been the Defensive Player of the Week in the AAC.
