The Cincinnati Bearcats officially added another quality opponent to its 2019-2020 schedule and for the fans who like to travel you get to visit Chicago. I know it is in the winter, but who doesn’t like to visit Chicago?
The Iowa Hawkeyes is normally a solid team and they are a part of the Big Ten so this game will defiantly helped the strength of the schedule.

The University of Cincinnati men’s basketball team will battle Iowa in the Chicago Legends event on Dec. 21, 2019 at the United Center in Chicago.
The matchup is part of a doubleheader that also features Dayton playing Colorado the same day.
Television and tip time information will be announced at a later date. Tickets go on sale in 2019.
The event, started in 2014, recognizes the tradition, history and passion of Chicago basketball and its contributions to the game.
“We’re excited to participate in the Chicago Legends event,” UC head coach Mick Cronin said. “It’s been a few years since we last played in Chicago and playing Iowa at the United Center should give our alumni and fans a great chance to see the Bearcats at a world-class venue in a phenomenal city.”
The Bearcats last visited Chicago during the 2012-13 campaign, posting a 75-70 win at DePaul on Jan. 15, 2013.
Cincinnati and Iowa have played eight times in series history with the Bearcats claiming a 6-2 advantage. The two programs last met in the first round of the 2005 NCAA Tournament with Cincinnati earning a 76-64 win in Indianapolis, Ind.
