MVCA (OH) senior Jon Surman talks PWO from Cincinnati

TFON: How did the visit go? Was it ain’t official or non official?

JS: It was a non official. The visit was awesome! I enjoyed the atmosphere and the way I was treated by the staff. The facilities are top notch, it’s seriously a great opportunity for me and my family.

TFON: Which coaches did you spend the most time with and built the best relationship with?

JS: Coach Denbrock and I exchanged words after practice and talked about his excitement in having me at the program. I talked with Mike Waugh on the recruiting side. Logan Meyer showed me around.

TFON: Do you know any of the current players or guys coming in the 2019 class?

JS: Yes, I’m good friends with Metz Lorenz and I talk some with the tight ends on social media. I do know quarterback Cam Jones coming in from the ‘19 class and I are playing in the the Blue/Grey All-American Bowl in January.

TFON: Which programs currently have your interest?

JS: Butler, Dayton, Morehead St, IWU, and the UC PWO are the offers I’m concerned with. Ohio U might offer after early signing day on the 19th if they have any scholarships available.

TFON: What position or positions is UC recruiting you at?

JS: Tight end and defensive end, maybe receiver.

TFON: How would you describe your game ?

JS: Aggressive and relentless.

TFON: Do you have any more visits lined up?

JS: Not at the moment!

TFON: When do you plan on choosing a program?

JS: By late January.
