New England Patriots running back Jeremy Hill is most known in Cincinnati for his infamous fumble inside of two minutes when the Bengals were up in the playoffs 16-15 against the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2016 (Bengals lost 18-16). It seemed as if the playoff drought was broken, but with one fatal play a snowball effect that couldn’t be reversed happened. Marvin Lewis never recovered, Hill was never as good as a player and slander happened.
Fast forward three years and Hill (injured) is a member of the Patriots that just won Super Bowl LIII and he took to his Instagram to throw some shots at Bengals fans. In turn it made Cincinnati twitter and Bengals fans go off.
#Patriots RB Jeremy Hill missed the entire 2018 season with a torn ACL. He’ll get a Super Bowl ring, and now he’s taking shots at his former team. pic.twitter.com/o0xZXlidxE

Even local media member Lance McAlister chimed in:
Yea, imagine watching a guy fumble in the final minutes in a playoff game. Stay classy. https://t.co/xOnTnQukx3

At the end of the day Hill still remembers how he was treated after that fumble and Bengals fans still remember the fumble so it has been very entertaining. I don’t think Hill should plan any trips to Cincinnati anytime soon, might not be smartest thing to do!
