The Cincinnati Bearcats laid claim to the No. 7 seed in the South Region. I personally thought they would have a shot at a No. 6 seed after beating Houston, but you can’t cry over spilled milk. It netted them games in Columbus, Ohio at Ohio State’s Nationwide Arena which will allow #BearcatNation to show up in bunches.
They will face the Big Ten’s Iowa Hawkeyes who are the No. 10 seed. They will play on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 12:15 p.m. ET on CBS. The winner of the game will face the winner of No. 2 Tennessee/ No. 15 Colgate for a chance at the Sweet 16.

The Bearcats lead the all-time series against the Hawkeyes 6-2, but they haven’t played since 2005.
This marks this ninth time in a row the Bearcats have made the NCAA Tournament.
