Cleveland Heights defensive end Justin Wodtly visited campus last week and I was able to catch up with the member of the 2020 class.
Wodtly stated, “The trip was great! I got to see a very intense practice and the campus is very nice.” He also told me he’s been in contact with coaches Wilt and Fickell the most. Cincinnati has offered the 29th ranked player in Ohio. He also has offers from Michigan State, Ball State, Boston College, Iowa State, Minnesota, Rutgers, Indiana, Kent State, Kentucky and Syracuse. Wodtly also has other non-DI offers.
Wodtly talked some about how his skill set would fit in Cincinnati, “I feel my skill set would fit best as a run stopper on the inside, I’m very versatile for my size and very quick off the ball.”
He stated he has no deadline to pick a school and is just going with the flow and currently has no new visits schedule.
Standing 6’3” and weighing 271 pounds currently he has the size and build programs love on their line. He’s currently being coached by Mac Stephens the father of former Bearcat cornerback Linden Stephens so you know he’s learning from one of the best. Wodtly would be a nice snag on the defensive side of the ball.
